12-14 months: Father had custody Monday evening from 5-8pm, Thursday evening from 4-7pm, and every other Sunday morning from 8am-12noon.

14-16 months: Father had custody Monday evening 5-8pm, Thursday evening 4-7pm, every other weekend Saturday 4pm - Sunday 8am.

16-18 months: Father had custody Monday evening 5-8pm, Thursday evening 4-7pm, every other weekend Saturday 4pm - Sunday 10am.

18-20 months: Father had custody Monday evening 5-8pm, Thursday evening 4-7pm, every other weekend Saturday 4pm - Sunday 12noon.

20-22 months: Father had custody Monday evening 5-8pm, Thursday evening 4-7pm, every other weekend Saturday 4pm - Sunday 2pm.

22-24 months: Father had custody Monday evening 5-8pm, Thursday evening 4-7pm, every other weekend Saturday 4pm - Sunday 4pm.

lessons learned.

1. Focus on yourself when your ex has the child or children. It can be a positive time for you.

2. A Special Master is expensive. And it can be overly accessible for some.

3. Supervised exchanges at a Family Visitation Center can be helpful if the actual exchanges are tense.

4. In a years-long custody case, it can become somewhat difficult to keep track of orders.
